We are thrilled to share the news that we’ve signed a definitive agreement for 4C to be acquired by Mediaocean.
As you probably know, Mediaocean is the advertising system of record that manages every aspect of workflow from planning, buying, and selling to analyzing, optimizing, and invoicing. Mediaocean’s foundational, open cross-channel platform powers $150 billion in global media spend, providing transparency and accountability across the entire supply-chain. Together we will represent the only independent, self-serve platform to anchor marketers, agencies, publishers, and broadcasters from end to end across converged media.
When we first created this company – yes, after a fortuitous upgrade to airplane seat 4C – we knew that our data science, AI and marketing technology would revolutionize the industry. We’re proud of what our team has already accomplished and the results we’ve driven for our clients. But this is just the beginning. The combination of Mediaocean and 4C will be the tide that lifts all boats and we’re both beyond excited to play key roles in making that happen.
The leadership at Mediaocean, starting at the top with CEO Bill Wise, shares our vision for self-service data-science driven software that delivers omnichannel advertising performance. We’re confident that, together, our teams will deliver on that vision. In fact, Mediaocean and 4C first announced a partnership for product integration in September of 2017 so we’re very comfortable working together.
