Happy new year and greetings from Las Vegas!

CES is always a feast for the senses and it seems like this year sight and hearing are the big winners.

Indeed, video and audio are everywhere from augmented and virtual reality to new 4K TVs. 

Your voice has never been more powerful with smart assistants like Alexa baked into in all the gadgetsjust be careful what you tell it. 

And your ears have never had more music choices with “audio everywhere” becoming a bona fide buzzword.

But nothing beats the live experience with artists like Snoop playing the Pandora party Wed. night, Gwen Stefani getting the nerds grooving at the MediaLink dinner last night and The Chainsmokers kicking off their Vegas residency tonight at the iHeartRadio bash. 

One trend to keep an eye on for 2017 is the new programmatic video and audio opportunities emerging for advertisers within the streaming platforms.
