The festive season is a perfect time to step back and reflect on the previous year. And what a year 2016 has been. Now before you get too dramatic about things or start cussing and blowing things up (Warning: NSFW) it’s worth reading these pieces in The Telegraph and Slate for some perspective. And then if you need it, enjoy another does of Buster the Boxer – which propelled John Lewis to the top of our list of Social Christmas Crackers in the UK.

Hopefully you’ve completed all your shopping but for those in the U.S. these retailers are leading the way on social.

Meanwhile Santa is making the rounds and these brands are clearly on the nice list.
