To understand which brands are most active on TV, we rank the top UK advertisers using 4C’s Teletrax technology, the largest global TV monitoring network. Advertisers are ranked according to total ad minutes aired across several different categories including network, daypart, and programming.

  • B&Q ads promoting outdoor and garden supplies drove the highest engagement lift for B&Q. Ads leading into the weekend on Friday and Saturday were most effective increasing social engagements 246% and 268% respectively.
  • Amazon drew increased attention from their spots in the month leading up to Prime Day. Prime Day spots drove a 214% lift in social engagement for Amazon while its Alexa spots continued to resonate.
  • Tesco cracked the top 3 by continuing to promote recipes through a personalized lens with its Food Love Stories. Spots for Birdie’s “Everybody Welcome” Jerk Chicken drove an average 113% lift in social engagement.
  • Halifax’s TV spots featuring Fred and Wilma Flintstone drove social engagement helping the bank climb to 4th in the TV Social Lift Rankings.
