While FOX’s scripted programming like Empire, American Horror Story, and Lethal Weapon drew the highest ratings in the 2016-2017 season, Empire was the only scripted show that was also one of the top three most engaged shows of the past year. Fox News’s Fox & Friends, often mentioned by occasional guest President Trump on Twitter, took the title for the network’s most engaged show between May 2017 and May 2018.

The audiences engaging with FOX’s networks fall into two distinct groups. Those who engage with FOX and Fox Sports tend to be family oriented, while those engaging with FX Networks and Fox News are older and have no children in the home.

The Fox Sports umbrella represents all of the sports programming on FOX’s networks, with the most socially engaged being NFL on FOX. People who engage with FOX’s NFL content also engage with NFL official sponsor Visa, as well as athletic apparel brand Foot Action and KeyBank.
