This past week has been a whirlwind with 4C earning the #1 distinction in three different arenas.

On Tuesday, as part of Advertising Week, NBCU announced that 4C will run the first self-serve, audience-based TV commercials across its networks for launch client, Target. Business Insider noted that this is “the same kind of automated software that advertisers use to buy ads on Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat.” Indeed, our experience working with partners to build on APIs and help advertisers reach their most valuable audiences across premium content networks – not to mention our first-to-market integration with Mediaocean – proved paramount in opening up NBCU inventory.

Last Thursday, our founder and chief scientist, Dr. Alok Choudhary, was named Best Tech Manager by Tech in Motion fat the Timmy Awards held in 1871, Chicago’s hub for technology and entrepreneurship. As Alok said about our employees on the 4C blog, “This award would not have been possible with the brilliant and curious minds that I’ve been fortunate to work with.”

Finally, last Wednesday, G2 Crowd released its updated rankings for Cross-Channel Advertising Software and 4C was #1 (again) for customer satisfaction. This honor is especially gratifying considering it’s based on reviews from verifiedclients – over 160 of them – and puts 4C ahead of household names (well, at least in our industry) like Adobe, AppNexus, Criteo, Doubleclick, Nielsen, Trade Desk, Rocket Fuel, and Rubicon.

So what’s the recurring theme among these distinctions? You can’t get to #1 on your own, much less stay there. Without great partners, employees, and clients, none of these accolades are achievable. And, it goes without saying, that these firsts are meaningless unless they deliver positive outcomes for all constituents. At 4C, we’re committed to being tops in that department for years to come.
